Hard to describe and photograph so if you’re picky about that, these are probably not for you. They are vintage moon boot style with the thick rubber soul and a sheer or Sherpa lining. There’s no tag that kind of information they are made in Italy. When you open the front zipper it just expand the fabric, but doesn’t open up all the way, so it keeps drafts out. Generally EU size 40 is about a nine, but I think these run closer to an 8 - 8 1/2. Especially if you want to wear thick socks, then probably an eight. I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 and my toe just touches the front without any socks. I also find them a little bit wide, but I have slightly narrow feet, and again, that’s without socks.
